Living a Life of Caliber and Excellence with the Longevity Kriya
This is the first sadhana ever given to me by my teacher and mentor, Gurumukh. I was one to struggle with commitment at 22 however I did it for 40 days. it is suggested that you commit to a kriya or meditation for 40 days in order to create a new habit and experience long-lasting change.
This particular Kriya is also known as the "Liberation Kriya" and I did / do feel very liberated by it. It has given me the strength to say "no" to various things that I needed to let go of.
The rumors are true, it can be painful at first, especially if you are not used to doing these sorts of seemingly strange kundalini arm exercises.
However it's worth it!
This Meditation Kriya does not have any particular sound current accompanied with it. I personally love to play Enter the Lion by Rhythms of Gatka, it puts me in a sound cloud and "holds" me up energetically so I am able to stay in the posture.
Let this Meditation become the fountain of youth and your all time beauty ritual. It has the capacity to rebuild the molecular structure of your body, mind and spirit.
1. To begin, sit in easy pose, eyes closed and tune-in to the Adi Mantra (3+ times to center yourself). Begin kriya raise your right arm up to sixty degrees in front of you and bring your left arm in a sixty degree angle pointing downward behind you. The two arms should form a straight 60-degree line. Keep the elbows stretched and the Jupiter finger (pointer finger) of each hand extended with the thumb locking down the other fingers. The palm of the right hand mudra is downward and the palm of the left hand mundra is upward. The closed eyes are focused at the center of the chin, the Moon Center. Breathe slowly and deeply. Sit with a straight spine and let your body go through its changes. It will feel like a worldwind, however deside to keep up and commit for only 3 Minutes.
2) After the 3 minutes, keeping the same arm position, extend the Mercury finger (pinky finger) with the Jupiter finger. Lock the other fingers down with the thumb. Stretch the arms straight still and keep the focus at the center of the chin. Breathe slowly and deeply for another 3 Minutes here.
3) Still maintaining the arm position, extend all the fingers. Tighten all the muscles of the body and stretch the arms. Eyes remain focused at the center of the chin. Continue to breathe slowly and deeply. Last 3 Minutes. This will kill any disease in the body. To End inhale, hold the breath for 10 seconds, stretch and tighten all the muscles of the body. Exhale and repeat this sequence two more times. NOW Relax.
Send this to whoever you believe can benefit from it. It is a blessing. I usually send it to my family and the meditation group, unless there is a particular person suffering, I send it to them.
And finally close out with 3 long Sat Nams. Chanted on one continuous breath. Sat Nam means Truth is God's Name/Truth is my identity.
All my love,
